Dr. Birnbaum As consulting medical editor for Choice Media, Dr. Birnbaum provides oversight to the Choice Media staff on the medical accuracy and relevancy of medical content. Dr. Birnbaum is board-certified in emergency medicine and practices in the emergency departments at several of New Jersey's most respected medical centers. In addition to 15 years of clinical practice, Dr. Birnbaum possesses a diverse experience in medical administration and medical education. He has served as assistant director of a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department and on the Board of Directors of Emergency Medical Associates, New Jersey's largest independent Emergency Medicine group practice, with over 100 physician partners. As teaching faculty for the state's oldest Emergency Medicine residency program, Dr. Birnbaum created a comprehensive medical education lecture curriculum for Emergency Medicine residents. Dr. Birnbaum is also the founder and Medical Director of Tradewinds Medical Advisors, LLC, a medical consulting firm. Through Tradewinds Medical Advisors, Dr. Birnbaum utilizes his medical expertise and real-world insight into medical practice to assist professionals in medical marketing, pharmaceuticals and e-health in gaining the necessary understanding to successfully create compelling messages that connect with their targeted audience.
